To be honest, I do not recommend this Brunswick Point hike unless you are very very very interested to see this door in person :
I like the fairy-tale looking wooden door surrounded by crazy branches. However, this is, in my opinion, the best thing this trail can offer.
OR, if you are into wild snakes, this would be your wonderland. We ran into couple snakes gliding by our feet during the hike. Any tree branch on the ground after gave me a mini heart attack. But rest assured, I've later googled about B.C. snakes and fortunately, we don't have any poisonous ones !
The Brunswick Pt. Trail, in general, is a very easy walk with minimal elevation. We walked in a very comfortable pace with Coco for about 1.5 hrs back and forth (8 km in total). It's basically a gravel path following the shoreline, providing you with a farmland foreground against the snowy mountain tops from afar. It's adjacent to the Reifel Bird Sanctuary, so I assume many people also come here to bird watch.
The trail comes to an end when you reach an area with trains, railway, and industrial machines.
